The book "From the caves and jungles of Hindustan" in a literature style describes the travels of H. Blavatsky and her Teacher which she named Takhur Gulab-Singh. In spite of that the book was considered as novel, Blavatsky asserted that "the facts and persons that I cited are true. I simply collected to time interval in three-four months the events and cases occurring during several years just like the part of the phenomena that the Teacher has shown".

The Book of Dzyan (comprising the Stanzas of Dzyan) is a reputedly ancient text of Tibetan origin. The Stanzas formed the basis for The Secret Doctrine (1888), one of the foundational works of the theosophical movement, by Helana Petrovna Blavatsky.

Madame Blavatsky claimed to have seen a manuscript of the Book of Dzyan while studying esoteric lore in Tibet. She claimed this and other ancient manuscripts were safeguarded from profane eyes by the initiates of an Occult Brotherhood. The work had originally, according to Blavatsky, been written in the sacred language of Senzar. She wrote

The Voice of the Silence was written by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky in Fontainebleau and first published in 1889. Translated from the Book of the Golden Precepts, which shares a common origin with The Secret Doctrine, the rules and ethics presented here contrast the two paths of spiritual attainment: the one pursued by those seeking knowledge for their own enlightenment; the other chosen by those whose aspirations are prompted by compassion for all.

The book is comprised of three fragments – “The Voice of the Silence,” “The Two Paths,” and “The Seven Portals”

Master-key to the mysteries of the ancient and modern science and theology, published in 1877, Isis Unveiled is a book of esoteric philosophy and Helena Petrovna Blavatsky's first major work.

"Isis Unveiled" was H.P. Blavatsky's first major literary effort, a critical response to the growing materialism in both scientific and religious institutions, and a vindication of the ageless quest. In the author's words, Isis 'is the fruit of a somewhat intimate acquaintance with Eastern adepts and study of their science...They showed us that by combining science with religion, the existence of God and immortality of man's spirit may be demonstrated'. Supported by extensive evidence from religious and mystical traditions, classical scholarship, and the testimony of nature, these volumes aid the student in detecting the vital principles which underlie the philosophical systems of old. Volume I focuses on the prevailing scientific theories of the time, balanced against the 'anciently universal Wisdom Religion', while Volume II examines the creeds of religions past and present, alongside the myths and symbols of various cultures. Throughout, the author strikes at the root of dogma and affirms the 'paramount importance of re-establishing the Hermetic philosophy in a world which blindly believes it has outgrown it.
